Persuasion

FollyThey bend my will with the direction ofFolly
a north wind bowing a weather-poised sapling and splice my spine with their rougened hands. my ego juts as I am sprawled and self-wizened skin spills young contempt; a murmur more than averted eyes as I flick a parry from my frostbitten tongue with all the vehemence of a spring
in snow or the steady browning of ivory sap beneath the blonde wood.

I like your poetry, it's short and yet full of imagery and thoughtfulness. Nice stuff.
